The Double H Club
Welcome to the Double H Club, or as the members often refer to it - Herm Haven.
The Double H Club is an international organisation with branches in major cities in most countries of this world. The goal of the Double H is provide a venue to give support to the hermaphrodite minorities of our communities. This support can be financial, emotional, physical or psychological. While many herms take advantage of our facilities merely to actively socialise with other herms, the organisation also provides a network for finding your ideal herm mate, counselling services, rooming facilities - both short-term and long-term, loans to promote herm-oriented businesses, and so much more. We're here to help you if you need it, or just give you a place to hang out with those of your own gender.
The only qualification to join is that you are a true hermaphrodite - that means that you are equally capable of being a mother or a father (at physical maturity, of course). Children are welcome and facilities for them are also provided. We have a family-friendly policy, but adult-only areas are provided also. We have very reasonable membership rates, and our family pass is excellent value. Please advise management if you can offer services in exchange for membership.

The Herm Haven project came about after I wrote the episode of Forest Tales where Leanna, an ex-slave herm fennec fox, is taken to the Double H Club to give hir a chance to learn what other herms are like and how they fitted into society. I tried to present a large variety of species and personality types, but there's always room for more. This is where you come in. In future sequel stories, I will need a few more minor characters. I have been inviting people who already have herm characters to "join" the Double H Club and be available for cameo appearances in my story. These appearances can be as minor as a brief mention as a background character, or as major as a co-starring part in the story. It all depends on how much you want to get involved, and how much information that you give me to work with. If you would just like to be registered with the club, that's fine also. I'm trying to encourage a community as well as making a database. Where appropriate, the characters may be used outside of the confines of the club itself.
Context:
During the height of the creation of morph species for various purposes, there rose a fad for creating hermaphrodite species. There was even some rivalry between the gene labs to make ever more exotic forms, and if a customer wanted something truly unusual and had the money to pay for it, they were willing to create it. Thus, although some types did not make it to the emancipation of the morphs, there is stil a huge variety of herms in the community, although many might pass unnoticed.
So what are the rules?
First of all, this is all in context with my story universe, so there are limitations on what characters are acceptable. I will try to be as clear as possible.
- Characters must be true hermaphrodites – in other words, they must be equally capable of being a father and a mother. (No actual children are necessary, just the capability, and of course that is when they are sexually mature in the case of child herms.) No she-males, dick-girls or pseudo-herms of any kind.
- Mammals only. Sorry, no reptiles, birds, dragons, insects, or fish! Cosmetic exceptions may apply.
- Rare species discouraged. Let's face it – if they are too rare, there won't be enough to maintain a breeding population. I will be very soft on this requirement however. There could be a very good reason why an odd species has survived.
- Hybrids – in the Chakat Universe, some species are capable of interbreeding. Many of the earliest morphs created were so close to human that they could sometimes interbreed with them and with each other. These morphs were all plantigrade. Later morphs were more and more animal-like, and were usually digitigrade unless their base species was plantigrade. These later morphs could interbreed with closely related species only. For example: dog & wolves, or domestic cats & tigers. Additionally, some morphs were created as a hybrid of two species and can still interbreed with them both.
- Chakats are always welcome, but I am hoping to get more of different species, taur or otherwise.
- No hyper-herms – all characters must be of realistic proportions. For example: on a human-sized morph, a ten inch cock will be considered the maximum. A smaller or larger maximum applies to small and large morphs. Bust size must also be within reason. However, considering that most herms are descendants of slave morphs bred specifically to pander to sexual kinks, there is some leeway in this requirement. I will be the final arbiter of what constitutes acceptable sizes.
- While I realise that many characters will have their fetishes, this project is not supposed to be focused on sexual matters. There will be child characters involved too, so please have a little taste. Please state both public and private behaviours if the fetish is too adult.
- Please provide any history in context with the Chakat Universe. No magic or super-powers not covered by the known psionic Talents.
- Reference images are highly desired, preferably with both a clothed and a nude version. Nudes are to be tasteful - no body fluids or explicit sexual views. If the character is underage, it would be best that shi be clothed. I don't want to be accused of promoting cub porn!
- The location of this branch of the club is Melbourne, Australia. If you want to belong to another branch, please let me know which and indicate that if you're visiting or communicating with Melbourne members.
- I reserve the right to add to or amend this list as circumstances dictate. In other words, I don't want anyone trying to find a way around the rules or find some point that I failed to anticipate.
So how do you apply?
There's an application form that will give you all the details and options to fill out. Please note that it is not necessary to fill in everything although the form will ask for lots of details. That's for people who like to specify the minutia of their characters.

FUTA FANTASIES
During the height of anthro creation era, a fad emerged for creating hermaphrodites, many of which still exist today as showcased above. However, as with every fad, there came the extremists where no kink was too excessive. Thus were born the futas. Named after the early fantasy beings with female bodies but male genitalia, the new futa anthros were based on the existing herm designs, and thus were true hermaphrodites also, possessing both male and female sexual organs, although massively exaggerated. However, despite being fertile, unlike many common anthros, they were restricted to being able to breed only with their own species. However, because they were created specifically to fulfill kinks and a bizarre desire to one-up their fellow owners of futas, they were not normally intended to be bred, and so very few exist today. Which, for their sake, is probably a good thing.
A gene lab went into the niche business of creating futas and it was named Futa Fantasies. If a customer wanted a very particular species of anthro – real, fantasy, or fictional – they were willing to stick a gigantic horse penis and testes on it. (Or a dog dick, or even a human one, but horse cocks were considered almost the definitive trait of futas eventually.) Even children's cartoon characters were not exempt. The latest genetic technology was used to sculpt a lifeform into a sexual parody of many innocent characters for the perverted amusement of the decadent and hedonistic rich. And while those huge penises were incredibly impractical, they were also extremely sexually responsive. They seemed to defy biology too as raising one from the flaccid state to fully erect should cause the futa to lose consciousness from blood loss when only partially engorged. The creators got around this by making their penises permanently engorged, thus never needing to be pumped up. Obviously, this was very inconvenient and uncomfortable most of the time, and the very largest erect cocks needed to be held to the body, or strapped into place, to enable reasonably practical walking. The problem was that they were still very easy to sexually stimulate, even when just being restrained. Futas were in a near constant state of arousal as a consequence. Many had multiple uncontrollable ejaculations a day. This did not bother their owners, of course. In fact, bizarre "beauty pageants" were held to show off their slaves' characteristics – the more extreme or bizarre, the better.
Eventually, after the Gene Wars, the futas were also freed like all morphs, although many needed special attention due to their nature. Like many of the slave species, they needed to be treated both in mind and body, but little could be done about their gigantic genitalia short of complete amputation. As mentioned earlier, most died without producing offspring, but the few that did passed on their genes. While gene therapists did their best to eliminate the futa enhancements from their DNA, there still occasionally occurs a birth where the gene expresses itself. This usually only becomes apparent at puberty when the herm has an erection that refuses to come down. Instead, hir penis and testes begin growing at an accelerated rate, as well as hir boobs. Prompt medical treatment will prevent the penis from becoming uselessly large, but if not detected soon enough, may remain erect for the remainder of their lives short of surgery, which would unfortunately mean that they could never get an erection again. For that reason, few choose that drastic solution – most are quite happy with their generous endowments and are willing to put up with a constant erection. Either way, they remain the rarest of the true hermaphrodites. Families with a known history of a futa ancestor will look out for the warning signs as their offspring mature. Any herm that has a horse cock on a non-equine base species is considered at risk.

FORBIDDEN CREATIONS
The morph species originally had fewer legal protections than a common housepet. The gene labs practically had carte blanche to do anything their twisted minds could conceive. But only with animal species. While humans could consent to have themselves modified, it was strictly forbidden to create a modified human the way they did the morphs. So, of course they did anyway. There was no limit to their greed or depravity – if their customer wanted something badly enough and had the means to pay for it, they were prepared to risk being discovered by the authorities.
Eventually, their luck ran out and their operations were shut down, but not before many human slave breeds were created. Prominent among them were the futas. While some possessed the extreme endowments typical of classic futa, many followed a different esthetic. For example – a total lack of body hair especially pubic hair, elfin looks, or wild colouration.
After being liberated and because they were true humans despite all being hermaphrodites, the less conspicuous among them generally blended back into society with minimum fuss. Others less fortunate found refuge in communes. Many found partners and had children, all of which inherited their parent's dual-sexed biology. There is a thriving herm human population nowadays, although few know of it.
Here is a gallery of some of them, past and present. As with the other futas, real names of present-day citizens are withheld by request. You are invited to admire them though. None of them are ashamed of what they are.
